Role Description

The primary responsibility of the Account Executive is to drive closer relationships with our customers and ensure an excellent customer experience. The position will use their expertise in company products, services, and support resources to assist customers with inquiries, requests, or issues. You will represent the voice of the customer by understanding their needs and expectations. You are experienced and comfortable working with deals at all sales cycle stages. You will provide deal leadership to our most influential customers and prospects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and target new business opportunities in the biopharma, healthcare, and life sciences sectors.
  • Proactively engage prospects via outbound calls, emails, and networking to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Own the entire sales process, from initial outreach to deal negotiation and closure, ensuring revenue growth and client satisfaction.
  • Present Aetion’s value proposition through compelling product demonstrations and data-driven business cases to senior decision-makers.
  • Partner with marketing, solution engineering, and product teams to deliver tailored presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations that align with client needs.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to position Aetion as a leader in healthcare innovation.
  • Accurately track sales activities and pipeline progress using CRM tools, providing clear and consistent forecasting to leadership.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for expansion within assigned territories or accounts, ensuring sustained revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in enterprise sales, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets, ideally in healthcare and/or SaaS.
  • Strong ability to identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities.
  • Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Exceptional ability to deliver compelling presentations, demos, and proposals to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives.
  • Skilled in using CRM tools to manage pipelines, track activity, and forecast revenue.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare and life sciences industry trends and challenges is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire.
  • Strong proficiency in written and verbal English communication is essential.
