Role Description
As a Small Business Account Executive, you will be crucial in driving revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within the small business segment.
- Conduct thorough research to understand the business needs and challenges of prospective clients
- Deliver compelling sales presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services
- Customize presentations to address the specific requirements and pain points of each prospect
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance sales skills and knowledge
Relationship Building:
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within small business organizations
- Understand prospective clients' business objectives and challenges, positioning our software as a solution to their needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer success, product, order desk, and support, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Sales Cycle Management, Forecasting, Reporting:
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from discovery to contract negotiation and closing
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports regularly
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, pipeline, and customer interactions
Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, particularly within the software industry and/or within the Non-Profit sector
- Strong understanding of the sales process and a consultative selling approach
- Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
Requirements
- The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
- Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
- Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
- This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.
- US Base Salary Range: $60k - $65k base; $110k - $115k on target earnings.
