Role Description
Valimail is seeking an Account Executive to help accelerate new logo acquisition on our Commercial Sales team. You will assist in Valimail's overall growth by strategically engaging and closing net-new customers across small-to-medium size markets.
- Own the Sales Lifecycle, from lead to close, with companies within the Commercial space (3,000-12,500 employees) and deal sizes ranging from 10k-90k in ARR.
- Identify and pursue new target accounts, maintain a high volume of revenue-driving activity.
- Strategically map out and break into accounts in companies in the Commercial Segment.
- Utilize solution and value-selling techniques along with overcoming objections to effectively guide sales processes to close.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams like Product, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Success.
- Keep CRM system up to date with customer information, forecasts, and pipeline data.
Qualifications
- 5+ years direct Sales experience in SaaS, in an AE or similar role (SDR, BDR, CS, AM).
- Prior experience strategically selling directly to CISOs, CTOs or other executives within the IT/Technology infrastructure.
- Self-starter, responsible for your own territory with experience building out your own territory plan.
- Identify compelling value propositions that address customer needs.
- Experience using our tech stack: Outreach, Salesloft, Gong, SFDC, ZoomInfo.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate highly technical concepts to a technical audience.
- Cybersecurity or email security experience.
- Sales training such as: MEDDIC, Command of the Message.
