[Hiring] Senior Manager, Qualitative Research @MarketCast

Role Description

As Senior Manager on our Qualitative UXR team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of a variety of research projects, leveraging your expertise to deliver smart research designs and comprehensive analysis plans. You will define the vision for reports, demonstrating expert-level analysis and insights to clients. This role also involves managing internal Operations team support, ensuring high client satisfaction for every project.

• Client comms and relationship management:
  • Manage overall client relationship, ensuring high client satisfaction for every project.
  • Build and nurture strategic client relationships by acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Identify opportunities for expanded collaboration through proactive communication.
  • Understand client business objectives and provide tailored insights that drive success.
• New business:
  • Partner with Commercial on business development efforts for existing clients.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of client needs and market trends.
  • Contribute to the development of research strategies and review final project pricing.
  • Participate in client pitches to secure new business opportunities.
• Project management:
  • Oversee the planning and execution of multiple projects within a client portfolio.
  • Drive innovation in project execution methodologies and tools.
  • Ensure quality and timeliness across all projects.
  • Manage resource allocation and risk management.
• Analysis planning and reporting:
  • Lead the development of analysis plans integrating insights from different research projects.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the analysis process.
• Financial Management:
  • Manage budgets for multiple projects, ensuring delivery within financial constraints.
  • Monitor budgets regularly and address scope creep with Research leads.
• MC - Initiative collaboration & Thought leadership:
  • Provide input to shape the direction of company-wide initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive initiatives forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Research, Psychology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in qualitative market research, with UXR experience.
• Demonstrated success in designing and executing research solutions for tech and social media clients.
• Comprehensive understanding of qualitative market research methodologies.
• Exceptional analytical skills to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients.
• Proven ability to cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders.
