[Hiring] Federal Research & Library Consulting SME @AlphaHire

Role Description

This role is for federal research and library/consulting SMEs who can support active and upcoming federal research pursuits (for example Library of Congress Researcher Consulting Services and similar research/evaluation tasking).

• Lead or support federal research, literature synthesis, and applied research consulting engagements
• Design research plans, methods, and quality controls appropriate to library/federal research environments
• Produce clear analytical products, briefings, and client-ready reports
• Coordinate with contracting officers and technical points of contact on scope, deliverables, and schedule
• Contribute research/past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals (when permissioned)

Qualifications

• Hands-on federal, library, or research-institution consulting/research delivery
• Ability to lead or support structured research methods, synthesis, and client briefings
• Comfortable as a 1099/project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client on-sites

Requirements

• Prior Library of Congress, federal library, or civilian agency research consulting experience
• Familiarity with federal contracting vehicles/IDIQ task orders
• Advanced degree in library science, public policy, social science, or related field
