Role Description

As a Lead Quality Test Engineer within the integration team, you will:

Leverage existing testing infrastructure for automatic testing of new web applications and integrations
Participate in the design and creation of scalable software
Test and fix bugs or coding issues
Work with development teams and product managers to conceptualize software solutions that support automated testing
Test the front-end of applications using the latest test automation methodologies
Develop and manage regression test suites and configure robust reporting for automation results
Test APIs and integrations using automation frameworks like Newman
Plan and configure Jenkins to run automation
Write scripts for data loading and validation using Open Search
Test software for responsiveness and efficiency using performance testing tools
Solve, debug, and report bugs in software

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a combination of relevant education, training, and experience
Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in integration technologies
Experience with automation tools like Worksoft Certify, IBIS, SAP Solman, SAP BPCA, Selenium, Nightwatch, Cucumber, and Nightwatch-Newman
Knowledge of Open Search, Postman API, Kafka, NSP
Familiarity with IDEs such as Eclipse or Visual Studio
Experience with JIRA or Version One, GIT
Knowledge of AWS Lambda
Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins/BMX
Database proficiency in Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL
Proficiency in performance testing tools – LoadRunner, JMeter
Knowledge of SAP ECC & SAP BW/HANA business processes for automation and regression testing
Strong Agile practice experience with Scrum and DevOps

Requirements

Defining solutions, providing estimates on effort and risk, and evaluating technical feasibility
Building automated testing for web applications, coding with Python, JavaScript, and Node.js
Deep understanding and practical application of modern build, continuous integration, and testing strategies
