Role Description
We’re looking for a self-driven and motivated Test Automation Engineer with a strong interest in mobile testing for both iOS and Android platforms. In this role, you’ll contribute to both manual and automated testing efforts, playing a key part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA colleagues to identify bugs early
- Maintain a high standard of quality across the software development lifecycle
- Help implement efficient testing processes
Qualifications
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to learning and improvement
- Clear communication in English, both written and spoken (C-level or above)
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
- Experience with writing and maintaining automated tests using Gherkin syntax
- Familiarity with JavaScript and front-end frameworks
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and how to test them using modern tools
- Strong experience with manual testing methodologies, including test case design and execution
- Practical experience in testing mobile applications on iOS and Android devices
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Java (nice to have)
- Exposure to continuous integration and deployment tools (such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions) (nice to have)
- Experience with shell scripting (nice to have)
- Familiarity with no-code or low-code test automation platforms and record-and-playback tools (nice to have)
What You’ll Do
- Create and execute test cases for both mobile and web applications
- Develop and maintain automated tests for iOS and Android
- Perform end-to-end testing of REST APIs
- Collaborate on behavior-driven development and help translate product requirements into test scenarios
- Investigate issues, report bugs clearly, and track them through resolution
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks and processes
- Help ensure consistent quality across different devices, platforms, and environments
