Role Description

The Strategic Program Manager, PMO serves as an advanced operational program management professional responsible for leading complex PMO governance initiatives, operational transformation programs, implementation methodology evolution, and organizational scalability efforts across the CXG Services division. This role applies deep expertise in program governance, process modernization, AI-enabled automation, operational tooling, and cross-functional collaboration to solve complex business challenges and improve delivery effectiveness.

A core focus of this role is evolving the organization's implementation approach from a single-product orientation to a platform-level model, ensuring programs are planned, forecasted, and governed with the full customer platform in view. The position operates with significant independence, determining approaches to new assignments, influencing operational standards, and advising leaders on governance, process, and organizational improvement opportunities. The Strategic Program Manager, PMO drives broad operational impact through leadership of high-visibility initiatives, governance enhancements, and scalable business practices that strengthen consistency, efficiency, and implementation maturity across CXG Services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead complex PMO transformation initiatives by planning and executing cross-functional programs that improve operational scalability, governance maturity, and delivery effectiveness across CXG Services.
• Champion an AI-first approach to program management by reimagining processes and methodology around AI-enabled tools, automation, and workflow redesign.
• Drive the organization's shift from a single-product implementation focus to a platform-level approach by redesigning program frameworks, milestones, and stakeholder engagement models around the full customer platform.
• Own project forecasting and capacity planning across the PMO portfolio, including resource modeling, demand planning, and pipeline visibility.
• Establish and enhance PMO governance frameworks by evaluating operational needs, defining standards, and implementing scalable processes.
• Drive implementation methodology evolution by assessing delivery challenges, recommending enhancements, and coordinating adoption of process improvements.
• Lead organizational change management efforts by developing rollout strategies, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring successful adoption of new tools and methodologies.
• Convert insights from project retrospectives and customer feedback into concrete action plans.
• Evaluate operational performance and governance effectiveness by analyzing trends and recommending strategic improvements.
• Facilitate resolution of complex operational challenges by assessing dependencies, risks, and competing priorities.
• Influence operational planning activities by partnering with leadership to align transformation initiatives.
• Develop executive-level reporting and operational visibility tools by defining metrics and performance indicators.
• Lead process modernization efforts by identifying opportunities for automation and workflow optimization.
• Coordinate enterprise-impacting operational initiatives by managing timelines and stakeholder expectations.
• Advise stakeholders on governance standards and operational improvement opportunities.
• Guide development of operational documentation, standards, and training materials.
• Build relationships with key partners across various teams by influencing outcomes and aligning priorities.
• Mentor team members and project contributors by providing guidance on governance practices and program execution.
• Contribute to long-term organizational scalability by identifying systemic operational challenges.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience leading complex PMO programs, operational transformation initiatives, or process modernization programs within SaaS, fintech, banking technology, or related operational environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Information Systems, Operations Management, Communications, or a related field.

Requirements

• Advanced experience leading complex PMO governance initiatives and operational transformation programs.
• Demonstrated AI-first mindset, with experience reimagining processes around AI-enabled tools.
• Strong knowledge of implementation methodologies, governance frameworks, and organizational change management practices.
• Hands-on expertise with critical PMO and operational tools, including Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
• Specific experience with project forecasting and capacity planning.
• Experience driving a shift from single-product to platform-level program design.
• Ability to evaluate complex operational challenges and develop scalable solutions.
• Strong executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Salary

The salary range for this position is: $114,000 - $143,000.
