Role Description
Responsible for managing a team that develops and implements operation strategies including acquisition, servicing, support, and back-office.
- Manages analytical initiatives that develop and evaluate strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and coach teams to identify, manage, and escalate risk, and effectively manage risk within the teams you oversee.
How You’ll Do It:
- Develop and implement strategies to meet business goals.
- Enhance system capabilities to improve decision making and operation effectiveness and efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain systems and decision integrity to minimize adverse impacts on customers.
- Manage and develop a team including hiring, performance evaluation, and development decisions.
- Plan, initiate, prioritize, and oversee projects to meet business needs.
- Manage legal, compliance, and audit processes for the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Economics, Business Administration and Management, Finance, Engineering or related.
- 8+ years in Consumer Finance, Analytics, Operations Strategy/Research or related.
- In lieu of degree, 10+ years in Consumer Finance, Analytics, Operations Strategy/Research or related.
Requirements
- Primarily remain in a stationary position.
- No required movement about the work environment to complete the major responsibilities of the job.
- Primarily performed indoors in an office setting.
- Ability to operate office equipment such as computer, telephone, printer, and calculator.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Masters in Economics, Business Administration and Management, Finance, Engineering or related.
- 10+ years in Consumer Finance, Analytics, Operations Strategy/Research or related.
- Understanding of Underwriting Policies i.e. Fannie and Freddie Guides.
- Understanding of the 5 C’s (Credit, Capacity, Capital, Collateral, Conditions).
- Understanding of Mortgage Industry Best Practices.
- Product Thinking: Automation, Technology, Design etc.
Compensation
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $106,000.00 to $178,800.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
