This role translates approved growth opportunities into actionable project plans and drives execution from pre-close or initial planning through launch, stabilization, and transition to ongoing operations. The Project Manager coordinates cross-functional teams, maintains accountability for milestones and deliverables, identifies and escalates risks, and supports multiple concurrent projects while strengthening Altruix’s repeatable M&A and De Novo implementation processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Own integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring clear ownership and accountability across workstreams.
  • Lead project kickoffs, workstream reviews, and readiness meetings; document decisions and drive timely resolution of action items, risks, and dependencies.
  • Maintain project dashboards, risk and issue tracking, and leadership reporting, clearly communicating status, decisions needed, and recovery plans.
  • Coordinate cross-functional work across Operations, Clinical and Quality, Legal and Compliance, Finance, HR, IT, Revenue Cycle, Payer, Licensing, Facilities, Procurement, Sales, Marketing, 340B, and Logistics.

M&A Integration:

  • Build and manage transaction-specific integration plans based on deal structure, locations, licensing, payer enrollment, workforce, systems, contracts, and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate seller information requests and pre-close planning in accordance with Legal-approved access and confidentiality requirements.
  • Drive Day 1 readiness and post-close integration through stabilization, coordinating employee onboarding, financial and billing continuity, procurement, technology, supplier transitions, communications, and operating workflows.
  • Coordinate system migrations, testing, cutover, contingency planning, and operational support to minimize disruption to patient and client service.

De Novo Builds and Pharmacy Relocations:

  • Translate approved opportunities into project scope, budgets, launch plans, timelines, and readiness requirements, escalating material changes to cost, timing, staffing, or scope.
  • Coordinate site selection, lease and facility activities, permitting, construction, licensing, equipment, technology, staffing, supplier setup, inventory, and operational readiness with functional owners and external partners.
  • Manage pharmacy relocations and Construction De Novo launches, ensuring licensing, payer, staffing, technology, patient transition, and operational dependencies are addressed before opening.

Launch Readiness and Continuous Improvement:

  • Coordinate functional readiness signoffs and escalate unresolved regulatory, patient-safety, payer, security, financial, or operational risks before launch.
  • Lead launch support, issue resolution, stabilization reviews, and formal handoff to ongoing Operations.
  • Monitor project performance against approved scope, schedule, budget, and operating objectives; capture lessons learned and continuously improve implementation playbooks and templates.

Success Metrics:

  • Success is demonstrated through reliable milestone delivery, clear cross-functional accountability, controlled scope and budget, launch readiness, continuity of patient and client service, effective issue resolution, and successful transition to ongoing operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, project management, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of project management or implementation experience leading complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple departments, vendors, or locations.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy operations, acquisitions/integrations, facility openings, or other regulated environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong planning, facilitation, communication, problem-solving, and follow-through skills with the ability to influence across functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Excel and project management tools, including schedules, dashboards, budgets, and action tracking.
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Behavioral health or long-term care pharmacy, pharmacy system conversions, construction coordination, and/or 340B experience preferred.

Requirements

  • Travel is required for site assessments, acquisition transitions, construction milestones, and pharmacy launches.
  • Occasional work outside normal business hours may be required during critical transitions.

Benefits

  • Salary of $115,000 to $125,000 based on experience.
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Long-Term Disability.
  • 401(k) program.
  • Paid time off.
  • Paid holidays.
