[Hiring] Principal Program Manager @Govcio LLC

Role Description

GovCIO is currently hiring a Program Manager to coordinate delivery of application modernization, clinical informatics, and AI-enabled health IT projects, including Ambient AI Scribe and related digital health initiatives supporting federal healthcare customers. This role partners with technical leads, developers, clinical subject matter experts, business analysts, quality assurance teams, and customer stakeholders to translate priorities into achievable delivery plans. Responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day execution, schedules, risks, dependencies, and release readiness for assigned projects.
• Supporting Agile and SAFe® delivery practices.
• Coordinating the integration, testing, and deployment of AI-enabled solutions into clinical workflows.
• Communicating project status and delivery risks.
• Supporting successful implementation, user adoption, and measurable outcomes for assigned initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, informatics, or a related field, and 8-12 years of experience (or commensurate experience).
• 5 or more years of experience in technical project management, software delivery leadership, or related roles.
• Experience coordinating multiple software development teams or complex technical projects.
• Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle, Agile delivery, application integrations, testing, and release management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Experience using project and backlog management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

Requirements

• Experience supporting federal agencies, healthcare organizations, or health IT programs.
• Experience with application modernization, Appian, or other enterprise platforms.
• Experience with SAFe, Scrum of Scrums, or other approaches to coordinating multiple Agile teams.
• PMP, Scrum Master, or SAFe certification.
• Technical background in software development, databases, or systems integration.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled healthcare applications, clinical documentation workflows, or implementation of digital health solutions.

Posted Salary Range

USD $170,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.
