Role Description

The Lead Program/Project Manager is accountable for the different initiatives of the ITMO & Cyber portfolio. The Lead Program/Project Manager partners with the Portfolio Owner and his/her direct reports to ensure initiatives are delivered with the intended business outcomes through the means of project implementation and operational support.

Responsibilities

• Strategy, Business Initiative, Portfolio Engagement
  • End-to-End ownership and accountability of portfolio of programs for strategic outcomes and business values.
  • Develop program strategy in meeting business goals and priorities.
  • Cross-Project coordination, dependency management, and strategic alignment.
  • Aligns and adapts initiatives to business goals and stakeholder priorities.
  • Outcome-driven, focusing on strategic results and delivering business value.
  • Bridges strategy and execution across initiatives to maximize efficiency.
  • Partner with Portfolio Owner from ideation to implementation.
• Team & Project Management
  • Direct and make decisions to guide team through challenges.
  • Charter new areas and responsibilities as organization evolves.
  • Providing direction and fostering collaboration.
  • Engage Delivery Managers of service lines.
  • Capacity planning of demands and incoming projects.
  • Oversee project health throughout project life cycle.
  • Provide support and coaching to other Program Leads, Project Managers, and Project Specialists.
  • Own, apply, and uphold Enterprise PMO governance and procedures.
  • Serve as a point of project escalation and mitigate risk.
  • Review work and deliveries of assigned Delivery Managers.
  • End-to-End project implementation ownership and accountability.
• Project Dashboard Development and Maintenance
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project dashboards.
  • Facilitate effective executive communications to keep stakeholders informed.
• Project Performance Monitoring
  • Implement performance monitoring and reporting mechanisms.
  • Ensure projects stay on track and meet key performance indicators.
• Budget and Financial Management
  • Manage project budgets and financial reporting effectively.
• Resource Management
  • Oversee project resource management, including contractor setup and access management.
• Vendor Deliverables and Contract Management
  • Manage vendor deliverables and oversee contract performance for projects.
• Cross Functional
  • Pro-actively develop and drive project delivery improvement.
  • End-to-End shared ownership of IT services.
  • Stay abreast of other initiatives and operational work within the enterprise.
  • Be the change agent in ideation, alignment, implementation, and adoption.
  • Work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders.
• Orchestration of Business Case Development
  • Assist in the creation of compelling business cases.
  • Provide input to the RFI and RFP processes.
• Time Tracking Administration
  • Facilitate time tracking processes and generate reports.
• Portfolio Governance and Roadmap Coordination
  • Coordinate and maintain portfolio roadmaps and governance meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5-8 years of Strategic program management experience.
• 10-12 years of Hands-on large scale and complex project implementation experience.
• Domain knowledge specific to Infrastructure and Cyber systems.
• Critical thinking is a must.
• Highly skilled at planning, organizing, time/task/resource/risk management.
• Strong financial acumen.
• Ability to establish, review and adjust metrics.

• Strong communication skills and C-Level interaction.
• Comfortable with ambiguity.
• Ability to matrix manage across a wide range of team members.

Compensation

• Base pay: $114,192 - $155,000 annually.
• Position may be eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan bonus of 10%-50%.
• Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
