Role Description

Our client is looking to hire a Project Coordinator / Estimator to support estimating and project coordination efforts. This is a new role and will start as part-time (approximately 20 hours per week), with the potential to grow into a full-time position over time. The main focus of this role is construction estimating, with additional project coordination and administrative support as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare material and labor estimates for construction projects
• Review drawings, plans, and specifications to define scope and requirements
• Support project coordination tasks related to estimating and handoff
• Maintain organized project data and documentation
• Work with spreadsheets (Excel) and estimating software
• Communicate clearly with the hiring manager regarding estimates and project details
• Assist with additional coordination tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction (estimating and/or project coordination)
• Experience using estimating software (specific tools can be trained)
• Strong computer skills, including Excel
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Clear communication skills

Requirements

• Experience with exterior construction projects (siding, windows, decking, envelope)
• Familiarity with project tracking tools or CRMs
• Ability to improve or support internal processes

Work Schedule & Flexibility

• Part-time to start: ~20 hours per week
• Flexible working hours
• No fixed time zone requirement, as long as there is overlap for communication
• Potential to grow into a full-time role in the future
