[Hiring] Grantmaking Program Internship @Cultural Survival

Role Description

Provide administrative support to the Grantmaking team, which includes tasks such as:

• Assisting with program communications
• Updating the database
• Organizing files and reports
• Graphic design and audiovisual content creation

The selected intern will report to Nati García, Capacity Building Program Manager, and the internship length is for 3 months.

Qualifications

• Outstanding writing and communication skills
• Adept on the Internet and creative in Excel template formats
• Attention to detail and ability to write concise summaries
• Fluency in English and Spanish is highly desired; Portuguese and other languages might also be considered
• Independent, self-motivated, creative, and reliable
• Strong interest in learning about Indigenous peoples’ rights, their activism, traditions, conditions, and cultures

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 hours per week commitment
• Ability to assist with video editing materials
• Administrative support tasks including document translation, drafting, editing, review, and proofreading in different languages
• Produce written pieces, including interviews, audio transcriptions, translations, and summaries on grant and fellowship projects
• Create multimedia content for publication that uplifts the grant and fellowships projects
