Role Description

This role involves managing a team of software engineers working on the Continuity product.

Report to the Continuity Engineering Manager.
Cross-functionally partner with platform engineering, machine learning, and product management to advance product features.
Bring clarity to ambiguous situations, ensuring feature development aligns with long-term KPI improvements.
Invest in individual growth, enabling your team to deliver with quality and confidence.
Collaborate with senior leadership to chart out a strategic direction based on vital business metrics.
Prioritize clear, constructive feedback, ensuring everyone on the team is aligned and empowered.

Qualifications

7+ years of engineering experience with a minimum of 1 year of engineering management experience.
Experience leading cross-functional product engineering teams focused on shipping with quality.
Ability to understand KPI and business metrics, as well as the ability to identify and scope product feature work to maximize business impact.
Previous experience in performance management, including the ability to mentor and guide the professional and technical development of team members.
A bias to take action, and an ability to use best available data to justify actions and opinions.
Expertise in growing teams, and previous experience recruiting engineers of multiple disciplines.
Ability to plan ahead for potential obstacles, communicate areas of risk, and provide clear directives.
Have a philosophy of valuing each team member and understanding individual strengths and areas for growth.

Requirements

Experience in a healthcare startup or radiology-focused organization (Nice to have).
