The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and results-driven Director of Professional Services to lead critical implementation teams in our Courts and Land Records team. Reporting into our Vice President of Professional Services, the Director will oversee enterprise scale implementations within Catalis’ portfolio, ensuring exceptional quality, client satisfaction, and ARR/Revenue growth. He or she will drive the strategic direction of these projects, build strong client relationships, and foster a culture of excellence within his or her teams.


Catalis is transforming how it operates and delivers value to Court customers. The Director will be a change agent, managing team members both onshore and offshore to deliver software in North America. 


The portfolio includes all products managed by the Catalis Courts and Land Records Vertical. Specifically, it includes Court Case Management, Jury Management, e-filing, Official Records systems, and Probation systems. Some brands include Benchmark, CMS 360, Landmark, TurboCourt e-filing, Matterhorn ODR, Caseload Explorer, AIMS, and WarrantNow.


What You Will Do

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of professional services projects, from proposal and contract negotiation to scope and budget definition.
  • Allocate resources to assure high quality and client satisfaction. 
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and coordination of the services portfolio and strategy. 
  • Lead and mentor a team of professional services staff, such as consultants, project managers, engineers, analysts, and trainers, and provides them with guidance, feedback, and support. Team members will be in different time zones and geographies (onshore and offshore). 
  • Implement products from a defined scope of work and hold customers in scope. Identify areas that require change orders and work with the internal team to scope and provide the estimate to the customer.
  • Strategically align team members and priority of projects across multiple products and customers.
  • Effectively communicate blockers and risks within your portfolio of customers at a regular basis, with strategic plans to mitigate and minimize the risk.
  • Work with your teams to identify project percent complete and accurately forecast revenue recognition on each project.
  • Ability to delegate work to your team and hold them accountable to the outcome of the desired outcome. 


What You Will Need to Succeed

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or the equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Proven track record of success in a leadership role with at least 5 years of experience in a high-tech environment with an expert-level understanding of Professional Services Practices.
  • At least 5 years of people management experience, managing teams of 10 or more people. 
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills .
  • Outstanding change management, customer service, sales support, people, and project management skills. 
  • Professional experience with project management and professional services software, such as SmartSheets, Kantata, Salesforce, MS Project, etc.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, presentation, and communication skills. The ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, and the ability to meet deadlines. 
  • PMP Certification: Project management professional and/or agile training certifications. 
  • Experience managing geographically dispersed teams (both onshore and offshore). 
  • The ability to influence and create change with customers, without owning their change management process. 
  • At least 5 years’ experience working with revenue recognition and forecasting.
  • Experience building out SOP’s for your team and the ability to present and work with peers to share them across workstreams.
  • Proven track record of working with a shared services department that services multiple teams who report through different individuals.
  • Because this position has access to criminal justice information, you must be able to complete Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) related training and pass a secondary FBI Level background check. CJIS background checks are only currently available to US and Canadian citizens.
