[Hiring] Architect Project Manager @WSP

Role Description

WSP is currently initiating a search for an Architect Project Manager with the potential to work out of any of our US WSP offices, including Tempe/Phoenix, AZ; San Diego, CA; Chicago, IL; Las Vegas, NV; Dallas, TX; Austin, TX; Houston, TX; Tampa, FL.

As part of our US Postal Service Team, you will support projects for the US Postal Service and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients’ objectives and solves their challenges.

• Perform a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques for small projects to large projects.
• Exercise independent judgement in some areas evaluating, selecting and applying standard architectural design techniques, procedures and criteria to make design adaptations and modifications.
• Interact with current clients and assist in pursuing new work by leveraging existing relationships in the market.
• Lead Design Team members in the preparation of design documents, reports and related project documents using REVIT and other applicable software.
• Demonstrate ability to perform thorough technical reviews in support of the office’s Quality Control program.
• Complete designs for applicable project, prepares architectural working drawings and related project documents.
• Prepare project specifications, compiling and analyzing relevant data.
• Conduct site and construction inspections gathering information, compiling reports for management.
• May assist in development of proposals.
• May plan, schedule, coordinate, and oversee the work of lower-level architects.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, or closely related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant post education experience in the learned discipline.
• Successful experience managing architectural projects.
• The ability to travel, some internationally, to project or client sites as needed.
• Proficiency with CADD and REVIT platforms and their capabilities.

Requirements

• Architectural license (preferred).
• Familiarity with USPS standards (preferred).

Compensation

• Expected Salary (all locations): $119,600 - $174,400.
• Expected Salary (Colorado only): $119,600 - $163,700.
