Role Description

We are seeking a Solutions Consultant to serve as a technical voice of Gifthealth in front of our pharmaceutical manufacturer partners, supporting discovery and solution design at the start of the partner lifecycle. This position plays a key role in supporting the Product department and reports to the Director of Product, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards.

This role works alongside an Implementation Manager and Client Success. Together, you help turn an open-ended ask into a clear picture of what the partner needs, how it fits on the Gifthealth platform, and what it will take to deliver.

This is a solution architecture seat, not a requirements-documentation seat. You think about the partner's problem and our system holistically and help shape solutions that align with our platform vision. Once a solution is defined, you hand it to Product, who owns specifications, prioritization, and the roadmap. Success requires technical curiosity, comfort with ambiguity, high agency, and a willingness to learn quickly from senior teammates and partners alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in technical discovery and scoping conversations with partners, pairing with Implementation and Client Success in live client sessions, and lead sessions on defined engagements.
• Own the technical relationship with the partner on assigned engagements, including architecture questions, integration approaches, and feasibility discussions.
• Help turn open-ended partner asks into solution designs that fit the Gifthealth platform, escalating complex or cross-system questions to senior consultants and Engineering.
• Give partners honest guidance on what is possible and what trade-offs exist, and bring concerns about partner asks to senior teammates early.
• Build and deliver demos, walkthroughs, and lightweight prototypes that make proposed solutions tangible.
• Hand off solution designs to Product with the context and partner input needed for Product to take ownership.
• Capture signals from partner conversations that may point toward future platform opportunities, and share them with senior consultants and Product.
• Use AI tools to speed up solution design and contribute to the repeatable assets and standards the team relies on.
• Partner with Engineering, Implementation, Client Success, and Commercial teams to keep solutions realistic and tied to partner outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. (Required)
• 4 years in a technical, client-facing role such as solutions consulting, solutions architecture, sales engineering, implementation, integration or professional services, or technical support for a software or services offering. (Required)
• Direct experience working with clients on technical topics such as requirements discussions, configuration, integrations, demos, or solution walkthroughs. (Required)
• Working knowledge of APIs, integrations, data flows, and system architecture. (Required)
• Quantifiable results from past work, with an understanding of why it mattered to the business. (Required)
• Pre-sales experience, including supporting technical discovery, demos, or scoping conversations for prospective or new clients. (Preferred)
• Healthcare, pharma manufacturer partnership, digital pharmacy, or specialty pharmacy experience. (Preferred)
• Experience working alongside implementation or client success teams. (Preferred)

Requirements

• Solid understanding of software architecture and the tech stack, with the ability to reason about how systems behave and where constraints exist. (Required)
• Ability to take direction from open-ended conversations and turn them into structured notes and a viable solution direction, with support on complex asks. (Required)
• High agency and self-direction, with the drive to move work forward without waiting for a defined path. (Required)
• Clear written, verbal, and interpersonal communication, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences. (Required)
• Ability to use AI tools to accelerate solution design, build demos, and follow and contribute to team standards. (Required)
• Collaborative problem-solving skills and diplomacy with external stakeholders. (Required)
• Foundational understanding of client retention and business growth, and how solution design influences both. (Required)
• Ability to spot and share client signals that could inform Product, without building to every request at face value. (Required)
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturer hub services, patient support programs, and specialty or digital pharmacy workflows. (Preferred)
• Ability to build lightweight prototypes or mockups that validate a direction with partners. (Preferred)

Work Environment

• Location: Remote
• Schedule: Full-time; standard business hours, with flexibility around partner meeting schedules.
• May require flexibility to accommodate partner meetings, discovery sessions, and live client conversations.
• Regular collaboration with Product, Implementation, Client Success, Engineering, Commercial teams, and senior consultants to ensure alignment.
