[Hiring] Senior Product Solution Engineer @Avalara

Role Description

As the technical heart of Versori's USA commercial team, you will sit at the intersection of sales and product, translating complex customer integration requirements into seamless Versori solution designs. You will report to the Director of Sales, Versori, in a fully remote capacity (#LI-Remote). You will be the most technically credible voice in the room during customer calls and an essential feedback channel for our product team. You'll empower the team with an AI-forward mindset — finding smarter ways to use automation, refine complex workflows, and help customers scale their businesses with Versori.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Account Executive team on strategic deals requiring technical discovery, dedicated scoping, and solution design.
• Lead the technical elements of discovery calls to understand the customer's existing system landscape, data volumes, and technical constraints.
• Design comprehensive Versori solutions that address specific integration requirements, including connector architecture, data flow mapping, and tenant structure.
• Deliver compelling, customized live product demonstrations tailored to the customer's unique use case and technical environment.
• Build proof-of-concept integrations for strategic deals to prove real-world capabilities before contract signature.
• Draft the technical sections of commercial proposals, including solution architecture descriptions, specifications, and implementation timelines.
• Support the Partnerships Lead with technical scoping conversations for the Avalara partner free build program.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or integration consulting role.
• Hands-on expertise with integration platforms, API management tools, middleware, or workflow automation products.
• Read, write, and reason about API specifications (such as REST, GraphQL, and webhooks) and data transformation logic.
• Experience navigating ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) or retail commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
• Distill and pitch complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Practical experience working with multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
• An AI Bar-Raising mentality: a learning mindset eager to advocate for how artificial intelligence and advanced automation can enhance integration strategies and lead customer success.

Pay Range Details

• Colorado: $131,205 - $180,400 annually
• Washington: $131,205 - $199,408 annually
• California: $131,205 - $218,328 annually
• NYC: $145,000 - $218,328 annually
