Role Description

As Senior Product Marketing Manager, Agentic Identity Security, you’ll shape how organizations understand and address emerging security challenges related to AI agents. You’ll build the narrative, positioning, and market-entry strategy for Apono as part of 1Password, bringing fresh perspective to an evolving product and category while turning strategy into action.

On the Marketing team, we’re growing our AI capability together and redesigning how work gets done. AI helps us coordinate, execute, and uncover insights faster so we can spend more time on what’s most important: performance, judgement, and driving the future of 1Password.

This is a remote opportunity within the US.

Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity, deep technology, or business-to-business (B2B) software.
• Clear strength in product marketing, such as product launches, market-entry strategy, positioning, messaging, or narrative development.
• Strategic thinker who can turn ambiguous opportunities into clear priorities, plans, and outcomes.
• Proactive and takes ownership by identifying what needs to be done, building alignment, and moving the work forward.
• Ability to communicate with clarity and confidence with executive, product, engineering, sales, and marketing audiences.
• Experience using AI tools and agents to improve research, planning, messaging, and workflow scale.
• Preferred: Experience shaping an emerging category or working in a high-growth or changing organization.

Requirements

• Define the narrative and market-entry strategy for Apono’s next chapter as part of 1Password.
• Evaluate existing positioning and messaging, preserving what remains valuable and evolving what no longer reflects the product or market.
• Build deep understanding of customers, personas, use cases, market dynamics, and challenges organizations face as AI agents interact with enterprise infrastructure.
• Own messaging, product marketing strategy, launch planning, sales enablement, and the content direction that supports them.
• Partner closely with senior product, engineering, marketing, sales, and go-to-market leaders to connect strategy across the business.
• Bring ideas from strategy through execution, using customer and market feedback to refine the story and priorities.
• Help shape the capabilities and resources the product marketing function needs as the business grows.

• Annual base salary between $152,000 USD and $220,000 USD.
