The Senior Product Manager, Onboarding & Activation will define and deliver cohesive onboarding and activation experiences across CFA Institute’s global product ecosystem. This role will lead the strategy and execution of onboarding as an enterprise capability, working across platform, identity, and product domains to transform shared services into intuitive, scalable customer journeys.

• Lead the definition and execution of onboarding and activation strategy as a foundational layer of the customer lifecycle.
• Design onboarding and activation as a durable, scalable system that guides customers from initial interaction into sustained engagement.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives to deliver onboarding and activation experiences that span products, systems, and touchpoints.
• Align engineering, design, identity, and customer experience teams around shared priorities and sequencing.
• Establish clear patterns for how onboarding is implemented across products.
• Establish standards and reusable patterns for consistent onboarding experiences.
• Translate platform and identity capabilities into scalable, connected experience frameworks.
• Oversee documentation of onboarding patterns and standards.
• Define and operationalize key performance indicators for measurable improvements.
• Apply a data-informed approach to continuously improve onboarding performance.
• Effectively communicate onboarding strategy, priorities, and outcomes to diverse stakeholders.
• Build and sustain alignment across organizational boundaries.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in product management.
• Demonstrated success designing and optimizing onboarding, activation, or early lifecycle experiences.
• Proven ability to understand and navigate complex organizational structures.
• Experience working effectively with platform or shared-services teams.
• Ability to connect product strategy and decisions to business outcomes.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong data-informed approach with demonstrated ability to define, measure, and improve product performance.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
• Awareness of the professional education or membership organization industry preferred.
• Fluency in English required.

Requirements

• Expected salary range: $110,000 - $150,000 per year.
• Eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.
