Role Description

This position is within the Tolling Services team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary. The team consists of IT professionals specializing in electronic road-charging solutions. Together with our partners, we develop and operate intelligent, kilometer-based tolling systems for international customers, covering the entire business process:

• Vehicle registrations
• Country booking
• Providing On-Board Units
• Position data transmission
• Charge calculation
• Fleet billing

Leveraging digital intelligence and advanced technology, our tolling solutions facilitate seamless mobility across Europe. The team aims to enhance existing services and expand into new domains. As part of an international team collaborating with T-Systems International, you will play a key role in supporting our customers with cutting-edge tolling solutions.

Main tasks

• Play a pivotal role in supporting and shaping backend tolling solutions.
• Take end-to-end responsibility by defining the product vision for backend products and services, overseeing the entire product lifecycle.
• Create and maintain the backlog, including detailed User Stories.
• Actively engage in communication with stakeholders to ensure clear alignment and understanding.
• Bring in-depth knowledge of agile methods and practices to lead the team by creating a positive work environment.
• Work in an international self-organized team in an agile organization and grow personally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Natural Science, Mathematics, Business, or equivalent work experience in IT.
• More than 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining Backlogs and User Stories.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in software programming with Java.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes/Helm, MongoDB, Kafka, reactive programming, Quarkus, REST/SOAP messaging, Prometheus.
• Deep understanding of agile methods and practices (Kanban, Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication competences in English.
• Proficiency in Jira & Confluence.

Requirements

• Experience working in a SAFe environment.
• Certification as a Product Owner.
• Several years of experience in understanding the application of tolling products and services.
• German language knowledge.
