Role Description

As a Workday Benefits Product Owner, you will take ownership of the in-flight foundational Workday Benefits re-implementation and lead the remaining workstreams through completion. Your responsibilities will include:

• Building, testing, and deploying reports and dashboards for Benefits COE members.
• Monitoring benefit transactions and ensuring timely submission.
• Validating that benefit events are triggered for relevant worker movement events.
• Auditing for invalid benefit enrollments.
• Creating test plans and partnering with the Benefits COE to ensure successful execution of test cases.
• Identifying and managing technical risks and dependencies to keep the implementation on schedule.
• Developing documentation and training materials for Benefits COE teams.
• Measuring and reporting on improvements delivered by the implementation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive HRIS experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on Workday Benefits configuration and implementation.
• Demonstrated expertise configuring Workday Benefits, including benefit plans, Benefit Groups, eligibility rules, Enrollment Event Rules, and Open Enrollment.
• Working knowledge of Workday Payroll, including benefit deductions and year-end processing.
• Experience leading Open Enrollment configuration, testing, and launch in Workday.
• Experience building, testing, and deploying Workday reports.
• Working knowledge of Workday Benefits integrations, including Cloud Connect for Benefits (CCB), EIB, and Workday Studio.
• Experience owning year-end W-2 and ACA reporting processes.
• Experience creating test plans and managing test execution.
• Proven track record of partnering with Benefits and Payroll stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail for regulatory reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of U.S. benefits administration and regulatory requirements.
• Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential employee data.
