[Hiring] Product Manager, Onboarding and Growth @Ashby

Role Description

I’m looking for a growth-oriented product manager to help users onboard and expand their usage of the product. As a PM, your primary goal is to eliminate frustration and bring delight to our customers. You’ll work with engineers who deeply understand the customer and business problem and own the solution end-to-end.

The surface area of our flagship ATS product is growing, and we are launching new products. This means customers are less likely to organically adopt the things that create value for them.

Historically, onboarding has been human-driven by our amazing Customer Success team. Now, we’re ready to productize our learnings. As Ashby grows, we need a single owner who can think deeply about the customer journey and design the product and email experiences that help users achieve their desired outcomes.

This role isn’t focused on conversion rate optimization or running A/B tests. Instead, you’ll gain a deep understanding of the entire Customer Journey and design a thoughtful onboarding experience for each role.

Qualifications

• You’ve owned onboarding, expansion, or growth for a B2B SaaS product
• You have strong product taste, and you think of growth as more art than science
• You’ve built a growth strategy rooted in principled thinking, research, and data
• You can show evidence of driving long-term growth results
• You have an unnatural curiosity and excitement about the end-user and the jobs they do
• Your written communication skills are excellent
• You’ve developed product metrics deeply connected to customer value
• You can point to exceptional relationships with customer success teams
• You know how to coach and motivate high-agency engineers and drive urgency

• Customer Journey: Design a thoughtful onboarding experience for each role
• Product Led Growth: Spearhead product-led growth motion with Customer Success team
• Adoption Metrics: Define and track key metrics for onboarding experience
• Product Qualified Leads: Define PQL and work with RevOps team
• User Experience: Own changes to features to make onboarding easier
