Role Description
This role involves leading the Digital team at ecobee, reporting to the Sr. Director, Digital. The team is responsible for delivering best-in-class user experiences on ecobee.com.
- Lead, develop and coach a passionate and diverse team of Product Managers
- Create an environment that fosters creativity, builds trust, and keeps the team highly engaged
- Collaborate with the team to develop long-term strategy and quarterly product roadmap for ecobee.com
- Be a champion for customers by leveraging data and consumer insights to improve customer experience
- Identify and action opportunities that improve engagement and drive operational efficiency
- Coach and support Product Managers to plan out sprints with prioritized product backlogs
- Use agile product management methods to facilitate daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Build a culture of agile continuous improvement within the team
Qualifications
- Exceptional leader with a passion for coaching and developing talent
- Solid track record of product management experience, preferably in the eComm space
- Experience working within agile delivery teams
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Technical experience with the ability to communicate technical work to non-technical audiences
- Proven experience fostering strong relationships with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Understanding of web development best practices and technologies
- Sales management experience is an asset
- Understanding and experience managing Shopify webstores is considered an asset
- Energetic, curious, and a self-starter
Requirements
