[Hiring] Lead Technical Product Manager @RMS

Role Description

As Lead Technical Product Manager for Integrations, you will set the strategy for RMS's integration and distribution products, deciding which channels we connect, in what order, and why, including work that connects us into the platforms where global travel and tourism comes together. This role asks for both real strategic ownership and genuine technical depth, not one at the expense of the other. You will be in the API specifications and integration design with engineering, and equally comfortable representing RMS directly in commercial and technical conversations with key external partners. You will also act as the conductor of your squad, setting its operating rhythm and bringing engineering and the wider business together around a shared direction.

What you'll be doing:

• Own RMS's channel and distribution strategy end to end, from technical design through delivery, adoption and ongoing performance, deciding which channels, OTAs, aggregators, channel managers and GDS/CRS platforms we connect and in what order.
• From day one, take ownership of two of our most significant, near complete integration programs, including complex CRS connectivity and hotel brand integration work, and carry them to a clean, successful landing, managing large internal and external stakeholder groups throughout.
• Work hands on with engineering, reviewing API specifications and contributing to integration architecture and design.
• Manage external relationships with key integration and distribution partners, representing RMS credibly in partner engineering, commercial and contract scope conversations.
• Act as the conductor of your squad, setting the operating rhythm, bringing out the best in engineering and design partners, and keeping the team aligned and moving.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis across the distribution landscape, including emerging AI driven and agentic booking channels, to inform strategy and roadmap.
• Collaborate across sales, support, marketing, onboarding, partnerships, finance and engineering to deliver end to end change, embedding AI enabled practices into how the team researches, prototypes, decides and delivers.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building technical integrations between SaaS platforms, with the depth to read and review API specifications, reason about integration architecture, and prototype or read code.
• Fluency in REST and other API patterns, webhooks, authentication, rate limiting, real time versus batch, message queues, idempotency, error handling and data mapping.
• A proven track record owning large, complex products and programs end to end, with significant internal and external stakeholder groups, and strong delivery discipline across sequencing, dependency and risk management.
• A strong systems thinker who is energized by complexity, comfortable being in the middle of multiple connected platforms, and able to see how a change in one place ripples across the wider ecosystem.
• The strategic and commercial thinking to set channel and distribution strategy rather than just execute it, defending clear priority calls with the confidence to operate autonomously.
• A hands-on, current relationship with AI tools for research, prototyping, analysis and workflow acceleration, ideally having shipped product incorporating AI meaningfully.

Requirements

• Experience in SaaS or B2B platform environments, preferably global, spanning permissions, rollouts, versioning, monitoring, language, currency and compliance.
• Experience with distribution, channel or marketplace style integrations; travel or hospitality specific experience is a bonus but not essential.
