Role Description

As Director, Product Management: Agentic Software Delivery, you'll own one of GitLab's most strategic sections, spanning Continuous Integration, Artifact Management, Continuous Deployment, and Observability. You'll lead senior and principal product managers and be accountable for adoption, retention, and revenue across build, package, deploy, and monitor.

• Set the three-year vision for how much of the judgment the system can make safely.
• Define how customers move from today's manual checkpoints toward agent-driven software delivery.
• Bring four connected roadmaps into one coherent strategy in your first year.
• Establish how investment is allocated and reallocated.
• Deepen partnerships with Engineering and go-to-market leaders.
• Provide customers a credible path for managing software delivery at scale.

What you’ll do

• Own the strategy, three-year vision, and business outcomes for GitLab's Agentic Software Delivery section.
• Lead and develop senior and principal product managers across various areas.
• Establish frameworks, standards, and operating rhythm for product decisions.
• Own section-level key performance indicators and adoption funnels.
• Evaluate major strategic bets, partnerships, and build, buy, or partner decisions.
• Partner with Engineering leadership on platform investment and architectural direction.
• Drive pricing, packaging, go-to-market strategy, migration, and adoption.
• Represent the section with GitLab's senior leadership and key enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading product managers and developing senior and principal talent.
• Track record of owning a portfolio across multiple product areas.
• Product management depth in relevant areas such as CI/CD, artifact management, or observability.
• Sound judgment about investment decisions and business cases.
• Technical fluency to work with engineers and architects.
• Experience shaping pricing and packaging for technical products.
• Experience working with technical customers in developer tools or software delivery environments.
• Executive-level communication and influence.
• Practical use of AI tools in product management workflows.
