[Hiring] Associate Director, Encounter Data Management @Humana

Role Description

The Associate Director, Encounter Data Management develops business processes to ensure successful submission and reconciliation of encounter submissions to Medicaid/Medicare. Ensures encounter submissions meet or exceed all compliance standards via analysis of data, and develops tools to enhance the encounter acceptance rate by Medicaid/Medicare. Looks for long term improvements of encounter submission processes. Decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s), and could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates.

This is a remote position.

The Associate Director, Encounter Data Management ensures data integrity for claims errors and requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s). This position reports to the Director, Encounter Data Management.

Qualifications

• 4 years of product management leadership experience
• 2 years of agile leadership experience
• 4 years of people-leadership or team management experience
• 2 years of project management leadership experience

Requirements

• Encounter data knowledge (preferred)
• Claims processing knowledge (preferred)
• Work at Home Requirements:
  • Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps required
  • Wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
• Travel: Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$104,000 - $143,000 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
