[Hiring] Value Stream Operations Manager @FieldCore

Role Description

The Value Stream Operations Manager III drives lean throughout the end-to-end value-creating process supporting and contributing to the value stream strategy in partnership with the Value Stream Director including:

• Event scope definition
• Event planning
• Associated methods/tooling/skill requirements
• Corresponding event staffing quantity and timing
• Resulting schedule, duration, and labor hours target
• Corresponding outage standards

Value stream ownership continues through mobilization, execution, closeout, and continuous improvement. Will also build out detailed, sequenced checklists for use in the Live Outage tool. Will partner with stakeholders across the enterprise including:

• Productivity Operations
• P&L Engineering
• P&L Methods
• FieldCore Tooling
• FieldCore Resources
• FieldCore Region Operations
• FieldCore Lean roles

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with minimum seven years of Field Engineer or Project management experience; additional years of experience in power generation can be substituted for degree
• 7+ years progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge in gas turbine maintenance
• Strong experience in power generation and field services experience in Heavy Duty Gas and/or Steam Turbine maintenance
• Experience with Primavera and Job Cost Estimators required
• English proficiency required

Requirements

• A deep understanding and experience with gas and steam turbine outage execution
• Experience working in the field with outage schedules and field procedures
• Experience with lean methodologies
• Demonstrated results leading outage improvement activities such as productivity tooling and developing cost remediation projects and programs
• Excellent communication and management skills, strong interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to work with all levels of employees
• Former Field Engineer or Outage Manager
• Expert in power generation outage maintenance
• Strong project planning and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
• Demonstrated year-on-year KPI improvement
• Work well both independently and in a team environment, including in remote work settings
