Role Description

Acentra Health is looking for a Operations Performance & Planning, VP to join our growing team.

The Vice President of Operations Performance & Planning provides executive leadership for:

• Enterprise performance
• Operational planning
• Operational performance
• Governance
• Quality management
• Portfolio performance and planning
• Client performance
• Operational excellence across Acentra Health

This role is responsible for strengthening operational execution by:

• Aligning enterprise priorities
• Improving performance visibility
• Optimizing resources
• Driving continuous improvement across the organization

Working in partnership with various leaders, the Vice President establishes:

• Governance
• Performance management
• Planning processes
• Executive operating rhythms
• Enterprise management disciplines

The role leads:

• Enterprise operational reviews
• Performance reporting
• Resource and capacity planning
• Cross-functional initiatives

Responsibilities include:

• Provide executive leadership and integration across functions
• Set enterprise performance management strategy and governance
• Establish and lead enterprise operational planning processes
• Translate strategic priorities into executable operational plans
• Facilitate annual, quarterly, and multi-year operational planning
• Establish enterprise performance management processes
• Provide executive oversight of Quality Management
• Monitor performance indicators in partnership with business leaders
• Lead enterprise business reviews and operational performance discussions
• Oversee enterprise resource and capacity planning processes
• Partner with leaders to strengthen workforce forecasting and resource utilization
• Establish governance structures for operational execution
• Sponsor and govern enterprise cross-functional initiatives
• Lead enterprise operational excellence initiatives
• Champion process improvement and operational standardization
• Provide executive leadership for Client Experience / Management
• Sponsor continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide executive communications, insights, and recommendations
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing leadership team
• Provide executive oversight of Business Intelligence & Analytics
• Establish enterprise decision rights and accountability mechanisms
• Coach leaders to strengthen performance management
• Model Acentra Health leadership expectations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Health Policy, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations or related fields.
• 7+ years of senior leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading operational planning and performance management.
• Proven experience establishing performance measurement frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to use operational and financial data to evaluate performance.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven ability to identify operational risks and develop practical solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to advise executive leaders and facilitate decision-making.
• Flexibility to travel as needed up to 20%.

Requirements

• Experience in Medicaid, Medicare, managed care, or regulated healthcare operations preferred.
• Experience supporting client performance and contract execution preferred.
• Experience with enterprise performance management tools preferred.
• Lean, Six Sigma, Project Management Professional, or related certification preferred.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence senior stakeholders.
• High degree of integrity and professionalism.
• Demonstrated commitment to developing leaders and fostering collaboration.
