[Hiring] Operations Associate @Drop Zero Digital

Role Description

We are Drop Zero Digital, a lifecycle marketing agency. We are hiring one person who is good at deciding. Our AI image service is our fastest-growing service, and whichever area you own, you will be helping it grow.

You will own one named area, decided during the trial based on your strengths. It will be one of these two:

• The hiring machine: How we find, screen, and hire people. Responsibilities include:
  • Running the funnel end to end
  • Sourcing, chasing, scheduling
  • Keeping our tracker honest
  • Identifying when the process itself is broken
• Client delivery operations: How work gets planned, briefed, chased, and shipped for our clients. Responsibilities include:
  • Holding timelines
  • Briefing the team properly
  • Ensuring nothing quietly stalls

Both roles require you to notice what has slipped, decide what to do, and close it without being asked. This is not an assistant or coordinator job; you will make real calls every day and be judged on the quality of those calls.

We are building a team of people who decide well without being managed. If you want to be told what to do each morning, this job is not for you.

Qualifications

• You make decisions and own them, including the ones that go wrong.
• You can differentiate which calls are yours and which are not.
• You take feedback as information and adapt without folding on justified beliefs.
• You improve quickly; we prefer someone at seventy percent climbing than someone flat at eighty-five.
• You identify when something is failing and communicate it, including when it is our process and not your work.
• You write clearly and honestly, especially about problems.

Requirements

• No specific number of years required; we decide based on your trial performance.
• Must have held a full-time job in the last 12 months.
• Employment history will be verified: employer, dates, title, and paid status.
• Misrepresenting your history is disqualifying; honesty is expected.
• Reliable internet: at least 30 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up, tested live.
• Strong written English.
• Based in South Africa.
• Track your working time with our time tracking tool from day one.
