The Director will establish structure and accountability around SOM governance, mature the use of Orbus as an enterprise capability, develop and maintain process taxonomy, support client gap analysis, and ensure effective change control and adoption across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a strong transformation and governance leader who thrives in ambiguity, can independently build structure around emerging capabilities, and effectively influences senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

This is a remote position with travel as needed, up to approximately 25% to support enterprise initiatives, stakeholder collaboration, and business priorities.

Additionally, Ensemble Health Partners is committed to leveraging technology, automation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve operational performance and client outcomes. Team members are expected to embrace and effectively utilize approved AI-enabled tools, automation platforms, reporting technologies, and digital solutions while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and independently own the SOM Governance capability within Operations Readiness.

    • Drive enterprise adoption and accountability for standardized operating models, processes, and governance practices.
    • Establish and maintain enterprise process taxonomy, process hierarchy, governance standards, and related documentation.
    • Partner with functional leaders to identify gaps between standardized operating models and current-state client or operational processes.
    • Develop governance mechanisms to support process changes, exceptions, approvals, and change control.
    • Monitor adoption and identify opportunities to strengthen governance, standardization, and operational consistency.
  • Orbus & Enterprise Architecture
    • Lead the implementation, maturation, governance, and ongoing utilization of Orbus as an enterprise process and architecture capability.
    • Establish standards and governance for how business processes and related information are captured, maintained, and utilized within Orbus.
    • Partner with Technology, Operations, Data, and other stakeholders to connect process architecture with enterprise transformation priorities.
    • Identify opportunities to strengthen the relationship between business processes, technology capabilities, data, automation, and operational outcomes.
    • Promote effective use and adoption of Orbus across relevant stakeholder groups.
    • Translate complex operational and technology concepts into clear frameworks that can be understood and utilized by business leaders.
  • Operational Transformation & Process Excellence
    • Lead enterprise process improvement, governance, and transformation initiatives across multiple functions.
    • Assess current-state processes and identify gaps, risks, redundancies, and opportunities for standardization or improvement.
    • Translate strategic priorities into practical governance models, operating structures, and execution plans.
    • Support client and operational gap assessments to determine alignment with established operating models and enterprise standards.
    • Partner with cross-functional leaders to develop solutions that balance operational needs, technology capabilities, scalability, and governance requirements.
    • Create structure and forward momentum in complex or ambiguous environments.
  • Change Management & Adoption
    • Develop strategies that drive adoption of SOM governance, Orbus, standardized processes, and new ways of working.
    • Establish effective change-control practices that provide appropriate governance while enabling the organization to move efficiently.
    • Partner with stakeholders to identify barriers to adoption and develop sustainable solutions.
    • Support communication, education, and stakeholder engagement associated with process and governance changes.
    • Measure and communicate progress, adoption, risks, gaps, and opportunities to senior leadership.

    • Build alignment among stakeholders with competing priorities and perspectives.
    • Influence senior leaders through clear recommendations, strong business judgment, and executive-level communication.
    • Independently lead initiatives from strategy and design through implementation, adoption, and ongoing governance.
    • Present complex concepts, recommendations, risks, and progress to executive and cross-functional audiences.
    • Establish clear accountability and maintain momentum across initiatives involving multiple teams.
