[Hiring] Chief Operating Officer @Indie Group

Role Description

We are looking for a COO who is also a true investing partner, someone who brings capital, connections, and operational excellence to the table. You will work directly with the founding team to build the systems, structures, and culture that enable Indie Group to scale. This is a seat at the table for someone who wants to co-create something enduring.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of senior operational leadership, ideally in a high-growth tech or startup environment
• Track record of building and scaling teams, processes, and revenue operations
• Financially literate and comfortable owning P&L, budgeting, and investor reporting
• Investor mindset and have skin in the game
• Decisive under ambiguity and lead with clarity
• Ability to hold strategy and execution simultaneously without losing sight of either

Requirements

• Led operations at a company that scaled from early-stage to Series B or beyond
• Deep networks in relevant tech ecosystems (United States, Europe, or global)
• Experience with M&A, fundraising, seed-rounds, dilution, exits or board management
• Builder at heart and energized by creating structure where none exists
• Philosophy of leadership that multiplies other people's potential
