Role Description

World Vision is hiring a Business Operations Manager to serve in the Sponsorship Programming Team of the International Programming Group.

Provide oversight and support in the areas of operations and business planning and execution, ensuring effective communication, working relationships and successful implementation of goals and objectives within the context of World Vision. Support strategic planning, cross-functional coordination, and portfolio management by strengthening operational systems, processes, and tools to improve efficiency, accountability, and organizational effectiveness. Provide data-driven analysis, reporting, and operational insights to inform leadership decisions, identify risks and opportunities, and advance strategic priorities. Champion continuous improvement and innovation, including the adoption of emerging technologies, to strengthen collaboration, optimize resources, and enhance overall portfolio performance. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.

Responsibilities

• Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life.
• Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization.
• Work with management to identify and execute day-to-day operations and tasks needed to support the team strategy.
• Serve as liaison among WVUS groups and their staff and the larger World Vision partnership.
• Lead and coordinate assigned projects and collaborate with other departments for various initiatives.
• Provide operational direction for area of responsibility and ensure compliance with corporate objectives.
• Ensure processes and systems are in place and provide enhancement recommendations.
• Produce management reports based on scorecard metrics.
• Analyze and validate research and demographic data to support leadership decisions.
• May train and coach other employees and/or backstop other team members.
• Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.
• Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field or equivalent (eight years) work experience.
• Requires work experience requiring leadership, communication, negotiation, and administration skills; 4 years.
• Discretion and confidentiality required.

Benefits

• WVUS Pay Grade Level: 224
• Estimated hiring range: $75,000 – $95,000
• The posted hiring salary range reflects pay for U.S. locations and is determined using market data and internal compensation guidelines.
