Role Description

We are seeking an AWS Business Operations Specialist to join our team. As an AWS Business Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and growth of our AWS-focused business and turning vast amounts of data into actionable insights that drive our partner value. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support various aspects of AWS business operations, including:

• CRM management
• Project management
• Process improvement
• Customer engagement

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze AWS-related sales and operational data, including managing internal CRM systems and AWS ACE opportunity pipelines, as well as tracking revenue, consumption, and forecasting trends.
• Collaborate with the broader Operations team to ensure consistency and alignment between internal and external reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend strategies to maximize return on investment for AWS business activities.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure AWS opportunities are processed efficiently and successfully.
• Support the tracking of project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure success criteria are met.
• Participate in partner and alliance planning, including fund allocation and risk assessment activities.
• Detect bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current processes and propose solutions to streamline operations.
• Implement best practices and automation to enhance workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, finance, information technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in the IT industry.
• Minimum 3 years in leadership, management, ownership, architect, or coordinator roles.
• At least 2 years of experience leading teams of 20 or more employees.
• Participation in at least 5 full-cycle projects or experience launching a product or key product capability to market.
• Self-motivated and proactive, able to organize and interpret data and translate findings into actionable steps.
• Demonstrated experience in business and partnership operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and work with financial data.
• Project management experience, including proficiency with project management tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with cloud security and compliance standards.
• Advanced English proficiency in both written and spoken communication.

Nice to have

• Experience in similar roles within a System Integrator (SI) or Global System Integrator (GSI) organization.
• Background in building automated self-service reports and dashboards using modern business intelligence tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
