[Hiring] Telehealth Doctor - Contractor @Montu

Role Description

Our doctors blend evidence-based practice with innovative approaches to support thousands of patients across Australia. We are seeking experienced AHPRA-registered doctors to join our telehealth team as independent contractors. This is a fully remote, Tasmanian-based role, ideally suited to doctors who can commit to around 10 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate your existing commitments.

• Deliver high-quality telehealth consultations across a diverse patient base, including patients under 25
• Manage clinical assessments, prescriptions (S4 & S8), and follow-up consults
• Work closely with nurses and doctor support teams to streamline care
• Maintain complete documentation and compliance in a digital-first environment
• Embrace digital tools to optimise patient outcomes and service efficiency
• Have a commitment to our patients and their ongoing care

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent and an unrestricted AHPRA registration (Minimum PGY4)
• Excellent time management with the ability to confidently manage 10 minute consults (4-6 patients/hour)
• Familiarity with privacy laws, RTPM, S8 regulation, and medico-legal obligations
• Strong clinical judgement, with an evidence-based and harm-reduction mindset
• Strong documentation/admin skills
• Experience working with multiple digital platforms and navigating tech efficiently
• Punctual, reliable and responsive qualities – you value team collaboration and patient continuity

Benefits

• Consult rate of $60 per consult, with an expected 4 to 6 consults each hour
