Role Description

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a RN Behavioral Health SME to fill a position with a Non-Profit organization located in Jericho, NY. This 1099 contract role serves as a Behavioral Health Subject Matter Expert, providing clinical expertise in the development of resources and identification of best practices around evidence-based guidelines to identify and treat tobacco use disorder (TUD). This position is ideal for an experienced RN with a strong behavioral health background and a passion for quality improvement and public health initiatives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher.
• Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in New York State.
• At least three (3) years of experience working on behavioral health-related projects.
• Experience in quality improvement is preferred.
• Proficiency in developing resources, identifying best practices, and contributing to report writing and deliverables.
• Significant experience in Behavioral Health and Quality Improvement (QI), particularly hands-on experience with PDSA (Plan-Do-Study-Act) cycles.
• Strong clinical expertise in behavioral health and tobacco use disorder.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project leads and team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Earn a competitive rate of $55.00 per hour.
• The contractor must work 20 to 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during office hours (day shift).
• The contractor is not regularly available to work on weekends or holidays, but may be required to attend brief meetings or training sessions on weekends or holidays, as reasonably necessary and with advance notice.
