Role Description

As a Remote Area Nurse you will:

• Assess patient needs
• Administer treatments such as wound care
• Promote health initiatives
• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams
• Ensure safe practices and contribute to quality improvement efforts
• Enhance comprehensive patient care and professional development

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated clinical experience in a primary care or similar setting
• Commitment to integrating Aboriginal values in practice
• Hold a current Manual NT license and ability or willingness to learn to safely drive a large 4WD vehicle
• Willingness for, and understanding of, remote area work
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Exceptional clinical skills
• Proactive adaptable attitude
• Genuine respect for diverse patient backgrounds

Requirements

• Full-time Continuous Contract
• 37.5 hours per week
• $127,803 - $141,843 per annum
• Total Effective Package: $157,132 - $173,140
