As a Psychologist at Next Step, you will have the autonomy and support to make a genuine difference. Your key responsibilities will include:

Deliver High-Quality Therapy: Provide evidence-based, client-centred therapy for a diverse caseload of individuals, couples, and families across in-clinic and telehealth settings.

Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Craft and implement thoughtful, effective treatment plans that align with our "THINK, FEEL, LIVE BETTER" framework.

Collaborate for Better Outcomes: Work closely with GPs, psychiatrists, and other allied health professionals to ensure seamless, holistic care for your clients.

Maintain Clinical Excellence: Manage your client records with precision using our streamlined digital platform, ensuring compliance with all AHPRA standards.

Contribute to Our Growth: Actively participate in our peer consultations and lend your expertise to help refine and develop our therapeutic services.

Act as a Brand Ambassador: Represent the professionalism, warmth, and values of Next Step Psychology & Counselling in all your interactions.
Qualifications

Full AHPRA registration as a General or Clinical Psychologist.

A valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Willingness to undergo, or possession of a recent, National Police Check.

A minimum of 2+ years' post-registration experience providing evidence-based therapy.

Confidence and proficiency in using practice management software and telehealth platforms (e.g., Halaxy, Cliniko).

An unrestricted Australian driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.

You are a natural relationship-builder, able to create strong therapeutic alliances and collaborate effectively with referrers like GPs and psychiatrists.

You are highly autonomous and organised, with a knack for managing your caseload and clinical notes efficiently.

You thrive in a team environment and genuinely enjoy participating in peer supervision and case discussions.

You have current registration as a provider with SIRA and/or experience working with clients through Wentwest (PHN).

Experience across various funding models such as NDIS, DVA, or EAP would be highly regarded.
