[Hiring] Primary Care Physician @One Medical

Role Description

We are seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our team in a unique remote role. This is a fully virtual position focused on comprehensive and longitudinal management of a new patient panel. You will play a foundational role in expanding One Medical's virtual primary care footprint, combining clinical excellence with a proactive, growth-oriented approach to patient engagement.

• Conducting virtual visits across a broad spectrum of primary care needs including acute, chronic, preventive, and mental health care
• Establishing strong patient relationships to drive continuity of care
• Collaborating with virtual care teams, health coaches, behavioral health specialists, and consulting physicians to coordinate comprehensive care
• Participating in weekly Clinical Rounds and continuous learning through other modalities
• Supervising one or more NP or PA colleagues as part of a virtual care team
• Contributing to the development and refinement of virtual panel-building workflows and best practices

Qualifications

• Currently licensed in CA, with the willingness and ability to obtain licensure in additional states as needed
• Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting
• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
• Active state medical license with willingness to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care
• Experience or strong interest in telehealth and virtual care delivery
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain patient relationships in a virtual setting

Compensation

One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this role is $193,000 - $225,000 based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
