[Hiring] Pre Registration Intern @Northside Hospital

Role Description

Arranges for efficient and accurate collection of information for orderly registration of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Collects and distributes patient information, billing information, and collection information. Makes patients and families aware of hospital policies and procedures. The duties of this position require the exercise of courtesy in speaking with patients, families, and others to maintain sound community relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, equivalent education (GED), post-secondary education or (1) one year work experience.
• Prior clerical, customer service, insurance, registration, or call center experience in a medical or hospital setting (preferred).

Requirements

• This position is remote after 90 days of in-office training.
• Shift Options: 7:45-4:30 Tues - Sat and 11:15-8p Tues-Thur, Fri & Sat 7:45-4:30.
• Work Hours: Varies - See below.
• Weekend Requirements: No.
