Role Description
Ensource RCM is seeking a Part-Time Medical Coding Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare recruiter who understands the medical coding industry and enjoys connecting talented coding professionals with the right opportunities.
The Medical Coding Recruiter will support the full-cycle recruitment process, with a primary focus on sourcing, screening, and building strong pipelines of qualified medical coding professionals for current and future openings. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys the pace of recruiting and wants the autonomy of a part-time schedule.
A day in the life of a part-time Medical Coding Recruiter:

Full-cycle recruiting:

Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, social media, professional networks, and healthcare-specific platforms.

Review resumes and identify candidates with the appropriate coding experience, certifications, and specialty background.

Utilize Applicant Tracking System to maintain accurate candidates and recruiting activity.

Conduct interviews to assess coding and auditing skills, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Coordinate assessments, interviews, and next steps with candidates and hiring managers.

Maintain an active pipeline of qualified medical coders for current and anticipated openings.

Ensure a smooth candidate onboarding and assist with orientation.

Stay informed about medical coding certifications, industry trends in healthcare talent, and continuously improve sourcing strategies to attract top candidates.

Ongoing credential verifications.

Other recruiting and HR tasks, projects, and duties as assigned.
Qualifications

A minimum of an associateβs degree preferred in a related field or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience.

Minimum of 2 yearsβ experience recruiting, preferably in healthcare, medical coding, HIM, RCM, or healthcare staffing.

Experience recruiting medical coders or other specialized healthcare professionals, strongly preferred.

Understanding of medical coding terminology and certifications such as CPC, CCS, CCA, CIC, CPMA, CRC, or COC.

Background in sourcing candidates in medical coding and auditing specialties.

Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience recruiting for an outsourced medical coding or RCM organization.
