Role Description

Eleanor Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Remote Supervising Psychiatrist to support our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Practice. As the Remote Supervising Psychiatrist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the clinical aspects of our SUD program and ensuring the highest standard of care for individuals struggling with substance use. This role is a remote role and is anticipated to be up to 20 hours per month.

• Serve as collaborating physician for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, ensuring adherence to state regulations and best practices in medication management as needed.
• Conduct monthly group supervision sessions with assigned team.
• Provide 1:1 sessions as needed.
• Complete monthly chart reviews as needed to evaluate clinical practice in accordance to state regulation.
• Support member care for complex cases through supervision and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with board certification in psychiatry.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience caring for people with substance use disorders is required.
• Board certification in addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry is preferred.
• Active state medical license and DEA registration in North Carolina (NC), Texas (TX) or Ohio (OH) is required.
• Preference for candidates who are licensed in multiple states.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

Benefits

• The total target compensation range for this position is $200-250 an hour.
• The actual compensation offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
