[Hiring] Coder Abstractor Certified @Freeman Health System

Role Description

Determines correct codes for diagnoses and procedures for office and surgical records. Assigns CPT and ICD-10 codes for billing reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Experience and skills in coding, billing, and compliance.
• General computer knowledge with intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Internet required.
• If homebound, must reside in one of the following states: Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, or Oklahoma.
• Current CPC coding certification or must obtain CPC certification within 6 months of hire.
