Role Description

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and forward-thinking Clinical Coding Audit Manager to play a crucial role in driving coding quality and data integrity across the Trust.

• Manage and deliver the Trust’s Internal Clinical Coding Audit Programme.
• Conduct clinical engagement audits and audit validation using our Live Audit Tool.
• Manage and mentor trainee auditors.
• Influence data accuracy and support robust clinical documentation.
• Contribute to UHL’s performance improvement agenda.
• Demonstrate high-level communication skills, excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Accredited Clinical Coding Auditor status.
• Expert grasp of National Clinical Coding Standards and Healthcare Resource Group (HRG) allocation.

Requirements

• Lead the organisation and delivery of departmental audit and data validation programmes.
• Provide expert insight on financial impacts of changes in coding practice.
• Challenge existing practices and incorporate progressive solutions into service plans.
• Collaborate closely with other leading colleagues in the Clinical Coding department.
