Role Description

The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking fellowship-trained radiologists in chest or abdominal imaging for full-time or part-time remote positions to join the thriving, expanding Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging (CT).

• Integrate in the division focusing predominantly on chest imaging, including:
  • Chest X-rays
  • Oncologic chest CT studies
  • Lung cancer screening studies
  • Interstitial lung disease cases (for interested candidates)
• Options to focus predominantly on thoracic imaging or have a mixed practice with abdominal or multispecialty imaging.
• Department currently providing on-site and remote interpretive services for 8 hospitals and multiple outpatient imaging centers.
• Strong orientation toward innovation with several Artificial Intelligence tools available.
• Carefully composed physician schedules to optimize work-life balance and prioritize long-term personal and division success.
• Template schedules include:
  • 8am-5pm weekday shifts
  • 7am-4pm shifts on weekends/holidays
• Additional schedules may involve evening work and multispecialty imaging.
• Participation in both clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including teaching and trainee supervision.
• State-of-the-art clinical equipment present across the enterprise.
• Strong commitment to faculty development and academic advancement.

Qualifications

• ABR Board-certificate/eligible.
• Eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license.
• Desire for candidates with subspecialty training.
• Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and accomplishment.

Requirements

• Tasks related to this position can be performed remotely with occasional visits to an Emory University location.
• Eastern (EST) time zone business hours may apply.
