[Hiring] Strategic Marketing Manager @Trojan Technologies

Role Description

The Strategic Marketing Manager leads and drives cross-functional alignment to deliver commercial growth in their assigned vertical and/or region:

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the industrial vertical across India & APAC, partnering cross-functionally with Sales and Service, Product Management and Innovation, Demand Generation and Brand, and Operations to deliver high-single-digit growth.
• Drive cross-functional alignment on vertical/region growth strategies and ensure the cross-functional teams are translating strategies to action effectively through good Action Plans, Funnel Management, Growth Rooms, Daily Management, etc.
• Work with the Product Management team to create new product commercialization plans by creating a comprehensive marketing plan including target personas, sales metrics, downstream marketing strategy, and sales enablement tools; regularly review existing go-to-market strategies to accelerate growth.
• Lead the annual Commercial Planning process for assigned vertical/region and partner with cross-functional teams to translate strategies to action, ensuring objectives are met throughout the year.
• Gain an intimate understanding of customer problems through primary and secondary research and effectively communicate insights to inform strategies and tactics.
• Lead the research and assessment of current and future market conditions/dynamics including macro factors, competitive landscape, industry trends, and customer needs, then translate findings into insights, strategy, and tactics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced Marketing degree preferred.
• 5+ years’ relevant experience, preferably in marketing, corporate strategy, and/or product management.
• Strategic and growth-oriented mindset, collaborative working style, and customer centricity.
• Demonstrated ability to drive growth initiatives.
• Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels.
• Ability to present highly complex, technical, or difficult messages clearly and persuasively.
• Strong strategic planning and analysis skills in sales, marketing, and business strategy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven team-oriented environment.
• Ability to travel over 40-50% of the time depending on time of year and business priorities/objectives.

Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), including deal execution and strategic analysis.
• More than 3 years of hands-on experience in tactical marketing (demand generation) or sales, and business development.
• 2+ years of industry-specific experience in industrial water treatment solutions and technologies.
• Proven track record of collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones and geographic regions.
