Role Description
The Senior Marketing Manager will lead our digital agency's enterprise marketing initiatives, content strategy, and partner marketing relationships. This role is essential in driving our agency's visibility and reputation in the B2B space by overseeing strategic marketing campaigns, thought leadership content, and partner collaborations. The Senior Marketing Manager will play a key role in developing our B2B marketing approach, managing external contributors, and ensuring consistent messaging that resonates with enterprise clients. This role oversees the marketing function and will report to the VP of the Wasserman Digital division.

Develop and execute comprehensive B2B marketing strategies aligned with agency business objectives

Establish and maintain marketing roadmaps that support enterprise client acquisition goals

Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making

Oversee the development of high-quality B2B content including whitepapers, case studies, and thought leadership articles

Manage a network of freelance writers, designers, and content creators to produce compelling marketing materials

Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all content assets

Develop content calendars and editorial guidelines for marketing initiatives

Freelancer Coordination

Build and maintain relationships with specialized freelance talent in various marketing disciplines

Establish clear briefing processes, expectations, and quality standards for external contributors

Manage freelancer budgets, timelines, and deliverables effectively

Evaluate freelancer performance and optimize the contributor network accordingly

Partner Collaboration

Coordinate with platform partners on joint marketing initiatives and co-branded content

Align marketing messaging with partner programs to maximize referral opportunities

Support partner events and campaigns with appropriate marketing materials

Ensure consistent representation of agency capabilities in partner channels

Qualifications

B2B Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies and best practices to develop comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business objectives

Strategic Planning: Ability to establish marketing roadmaps and make strategic decisions based on market trends and competitor analysis

eCommerce Platform Proficiency: Knowledge of the major e-commerce platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, CommerceTools, and Magento

Content Strategy: Experience developing diverse B2B content including whitepapers, case studies, and thought leadership articles

Editorial Management: Skills to develop content calendars, establish editorial guidelines, and maintain consistent brand voice

Project Management: Ability to coordinate multiple content projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Freelancer Management: Experience building and maintaining relationships with freelance talent across various marketing disciplines

Team Coordination: Skills to establish clear briefing processes and quality standards for external contributors

Relationship Building: Capability to coordinate with platform partners on joint marketing initiatives
