Role Description
The Social Media Manager will take ownership of one or more ventures within Emerge, ensuring strategic execution and operational efficiency. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms to drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Oversee the creation of compelling content, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand voice across digital channels.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including creative departments, social media moderators, graphics designers, as well as external partners such as VCs, agencies, and startup stakeholders.
- Manage social media budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in social media, digital marketing, and industry developments to keep our strategy innovative and competitive.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in social media management and strategy execution.
- Background working in venture capital environments, agencies, or startups.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital tools like X, Telegram, and Discord.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft clear, engaging content.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective social media strategies that drive measurable results.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.
