Role Description

As a Social Media Content Creator, you will conceptualize and produce creative social-first content for CALIDA's digital channels. With authentic storytelling and a sense for trends and aesthetics, you will strengthen our social media presence and bring our brand to life digitally.

• Develop creative content ideas, storytelling approaches, and recurring social media formats that align with CALIDA and our community.
• From idea to finished asset: Conceptualize, produce, and edit social-first content, particularly reels, short videos, stories, and photo and motion content.
• Translate our brand values and campaigns into platform-specific content, ensuring a consistent look & feel and tone of voice.
• Actively contribute your expertise and trend awareness to the development of our content, visual, and tone-of-voice guidelines.
• Manage editorial and content planning as well as publishing on our relevant social media platforms.
• Engage closely with our community and take on community management responsibilities.
• Monitor trends and platform developments, test new formats, and analyze content performance to derive learnings and optimization measures.
• Collaborate with influencer marketing, PR, and marketing campaigning to ensure a coordinated and impactful brand presence.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing, ideally in a company or agency.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, aesthetics, and social-first content, with knowledge of what works on different platforms.
• Experience in conceptualizing and producing reels, short-form videos, and social media assets, ideally with a portfolio or references to showcase your work.
• Proficient in relevant social media platforms, with knowledge of their mechanics, trends, and best practices.
• Experience in video editing and content production, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or comparable tools.
• Creative, trend-sensitive, hands-on, structured, and enjoys teamwork.
• Very good German and English language skills, with a keen sense for audience- and channel-appropriate communication.
